OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB
- Development and support of electronics products for safety systems, as part of a Research & Development team in a World-leading multinational organisation
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design electronics circuits for safety system components
- Plan and conduct design qualification testing
- Liaise with other departments including mechanical, SW & SQA
- Liaise with Factory Production Engineering and Test Engineering
- Support manufacturing during new product introduction and product continuation
- Give assistance to Field Support Department in resolving installation problems
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers, including approvals organisations
- Maintain adequate knowledge in relevant technical development
WE EXPECT:
- Proficient in applying technology to commercial solutions
- Must have more than 4 years relevant experience in R&D
- Must have advanced experience in at least one field of required knowledge
- Must have project management experience
- Experience in Digital / Microprocessor electronics, analogue electronics, EMC design, Electrical Safety, Design for production, Digital and/or Analogue Simulation tools, mbedded Software
University Degree in Electronics Engineering is an advantage
